The Marquis of Granby

A family run inn that has recently been refurbished and prides itself on providing only the best in customer service. The B&B accommodation is in a stone fronted cottage in the picturesque Lincolnshire village of Wellingore. Wellingore which conjoins the larger village of Navenby is ideally situated for the historic town of Lincoln (10 miles), the market towns of Grantham (18 miles), Newark (14 miles) and Sleaford (10 miles). It is close to the RAF bases of Waddington (5.9 miles), Cranwell (7.7 miles) and Digby (7.6 miles) so it is an ideal location for air enthusiasts. Situated on the Viking Way Wellingore is an ideal base for walkers.

The adjoining public house is a beautiful grade 2 listed stone fronted building and is open from 12 noon to 11pm 7 days per week. On offer are a selection of premium wines, ales including the Italian beer Birra Moretti, spirits and minerals. Delicious bar meals are available during this time. The Marquis also boasts an excellent restaurant offering speciality nights – Fish night Friday and Steak night Saturday (2 steaks including a bottle of wine for £30) as well as an excellent reasonably priced A’la Carte menu.

The accommodation has been tastefully refurbished in keeping with the character of the property. The rooms have en-suite shower rooms, comfortable beds, tea & coffee facilities, flat screen TV’s and free wi-fi.

We offer a good selection of beers wines and minerals in our well stocked bar. The food is delicious using fresh locally sourced ingredients and cooked to order by our team of chefs.
